How I shape those roof ends is a bit of adventure. Starts with my upright 3x36 beltsander with an 80 grit belt. Then I move to using a 4-in-hand, followed by a sanding block and sanding sponge to finish.

Assembled the "box"....
Glued the scribed siding into place on the rounded ends -- Ends are going to need a little more shaping attention but now I can see just where the overhang is over the ends to finish the sanding and smoothing w/o going too far.In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Bit of cleverness in this kit; turning the corner from the rounded end scribed siding to the scribed siding that will go on the sides. Supplied wood angle got a bit of 1/4 round glued into it and that in turn makes the corner transition from ends to sides.

Nice progress with the contoured roof work and body ends. That is one solid body from the looks of that photo.

Martin, here is a screen shot of one of the pictures you pasted previously in Post #17, I don't know why some members only see a blue box with question mark.
I've seen your picture in full size from the beginning. This is just to let you know the pictures are getting through to most of us. The problem has got to be on their end.

Martin, the "test of photos" images come through just fine here, and the "assembled the box" and "bit of cleverness" images at the top of this page came through fine and dandy. It's only yesterday's offering that gives us little boxes that all look just the same.... Today's offerings work well, as do Louis.' So I think there is something in the coding or the way it was loaded....
The SBS stuff you do is inspirational, and we all need to be able to see it all!

I think I vaguely recall getting an error on the 1st upload of the photos, and then the site came back telling me that they were stored and that I could try to repost. It looked fine here (and to others....) but maybe there's something funky in there that other systems is not deciphering properly? Learned lesson now - error encountered = start over fresh.
Back into the shop.....working on making my own radial coupler extensions.....got commercial ones from a company that's probably no longer in existence, so how hard could it be to make your own......what could possibly go wrong?In a time like ours seemings and portents signify.
