Hmmmmmm.............decals are just a wee bit............ancient, but not the oldest I've been faced with using,

Have to put a good overspray on these while getting the car painted......bit of a bland color scheme; Pullman Green, Lark Dark Gray, Steam Black.......

Okay, got it done.....painted and decaled.....for now........camera really bounced the lighting hard off the decal film - they look perfectly fine on the bench. Have to play with the camera or my photo set-up area......

                    Martin,

I had a closer look at those trucks. Do they flex to follow uneven track?

BTW, nice looking model. Always love the models you do and the process to get a nice looking piece of equipment in the end.

Truck frames are solid, not sprung, but do pivot on the bolsters (very easily, maybe too much!) so are equalized - pretty sure they are All-Nation trucks. Think I might have another set about for a another fun car....

                    Martin,

That's a very cool model. Something a little different.

You did a very nice job.

                    Mike

Thanks all; on to the next HO kit to translate to O when I get some space on the bench.

Got a couple of square feet on bench #1 to work in again.....up next a Riverside Insulated tank car. Kit was made in HO and never in O. Doesn't look to heinous and then what could possibly go wrong? I mean, it's not like anyone has traveled from the future to stop me so it's probably an ok project, right?

Look in on the instructions from the HO kit.....

Corrugated sheathing - thinking styrene and not wood for that and other bits here & there. Rest looks to be wood. Got to the get the HO and the O scale rulers out and put to work on translations now...
