A quick project, Amesville Shops PRR XB, lettered Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne & Chicago (Lines West).
In the tradition of "happy little accidents", I primed with Vallejo Red-Brown, and then oversprayed Vallejo Amarantha Red. That was thinned too much, and didn't cover very well. But that gave me a -great- weathered car siding look. I drybrushed Rail Brown on the bottom of the car and other places the overspray puddled, then "Future", decals, Newton & Windsor matte varnish. Finally a light application of Pan Pastel to tone down the lettering.
