That's a nice little diorama you have there Allen. That is going to be part of the E. Lebanon scenery isn't it? Boy that 'pie' car sure looks nice on that bridge. Oh, and nice catch!!

The boys from Lebanon Yard have decided to take some time off and
do a little fishing. At the East end of the Lebanon is a stream that yields
terrific Steelhead.
Below, Pete (left of center) proudly displays his trophy catch:
Opposite them, down stream and across the main, is a holding spur which holds two cars reminding
them of their day's work. That's right, the visiting NYNH&Hid="brown"> 'Pie' car and a Burlington gon await
transfer.
The truth of the matter is that Lebanon, which is a part of our new club layout, has not been built
yet, but it is undergoing lighting tests to determine which system of lighting will be used.
Below, our new layout room is apparent having made the transitiion from darkness into light.
One thing is for sure though, this lighting test is being conducted in the future
East Lebanon!
For more information on our club's future layout, go to the topic, TOPSY-TURVY
under the Club sub-forum.

This afternoon before punching-out, Ernie left a card in my inbox identifying the mark:
I wonder if the car's owner realizes that it was built in Bessemer, Alabama?
Note: Oh yes! . .In case you're wondering, I put the car under a strong microscope! [:-magnify]

Allen,
Nice shot of an elegant graphic! Love that NYNH&H logo! And I'm impressed that the builder's plate was readable....

Since my eyesight has been deteriorating [:-blindfold] , and I was curious as to one of the markings
on the visiting pie car, I gave Ernie a call this morning to check it out. Below, together with
Dave & Otis, they examined the marking in question.
