  • Jim, I think I saw those buildings in an amusement park when I was a kid.

    • Frank, I couldn't find them again if I tried, some desolate Indiana gravel roads.

      • Hey Jim, looks like your camera had a few nips before it took the pictures...[:-drunk]

        • Jim, that first picture could be a bit tricky to model. Do you have any other pics of this structure, particularly from the backside? TIA

Life is to short to build all of the models I want to.

          • This place is really rockin' Sort of a prototype building flat against a cliff backdrop. An no, it isn't being torn down...any more than what is here.

            • Here's a nice house to model. Minus the front awning, of course ! I'll bet it was nice in its day.

              • what a shame. looks like a real beauty it her day.
diplomacy is the art of saying \'nice doggie\', until you can find a rock.

                • Here's another structure I have always liked and might build one day. It's located in the same town as the old green house above, in Friendship, New York. It's an old Fire Station. Picture of the front, is first, then proceed around it starting on the left side.

                  • This post was inspired by sgtbob's thread on building a shallow relief cottage

The house here looks nothing like the terrific gingerbready prototype Sgt Bob modeled, except that it can be modeled fullsize and still be a

shallow relief structure, something many of us can probably use somewhere. Here are photos of all four sides.

A few other ideas of how to use a shallow structure like this as part of a background scene and be seen here:http://railroad-line.com/forum/topic...4&whichpage=24
