Springtime In Appalachia

Took a trip down to Pike County the other day...(along the KY/VA state line) Took this picture of the Russel Fork River along KY 80...I've always wanted to do scenery like this in model form...Looks like a great location for a mine branch, or a logging road...

This country used to be home to the C&O, & the Clinchfield...
