What are the dimensions of the coffee stirrers?

Harold I don't want to answer for Marty but I have used these wooden stirrers alot myself and they are roughly 6" long by 1/4" wide the width is usally what varies though as it is all secondary wood. I think it would be ideal to simulate an aged look in the larger gauges as it looks like worn wood when laid side by side. Hope it helps Pat

Harold I just went and measured one and its 1mm thick. They do fluxuate slightly between each one even in the same box though.Pat

Sorry about neglecting my post, I've been away.
Looks like you are all doing fine without me!
Belg has the dimentions right on and yes they do vary slightly, but thats what I want.
Paul- yes these are the foundations for ALL my cars.
So far there is a flat, a low side gondola, a caboose and the boxcar.
I have plans to do a tank car next after I get some structures up.
