    Boo Hoo it's Monday

    Good morning folks,

    It is a Monday for sure. Had a hard time getting up and out the door this morning. I guess I better brew up some thick and chewy coffee this morning so everyone can get a jump-start on the day. Found another Krispy Kreme coupon so we have some donuts.

    Still recovering from our day at the beach. Wife and kids want to do it again in a couple of weeks.

    I am still painting the deck on the D&RGW flat car. I finally lettered the wood boxcar for New Haven. Now I need to assemble and weather it.

    Oops! Tom, I think we posted our "Good morning Monday" things at the same time. Oh well, just that much more to talk about.

      Morning All,

      Two coffee pot locations..great, "double your pleasure, double your fun". Thanks Tom for the coffee and donuts.

      Weather is back in the triple digits with no relief is sight. AC is doing over time.

      Worked on challenge project yesterday. Should be ready to start diorama base in next couple of days.

        I gotta admit, I like coffee that stands up and takes charge!

        It's warm and humid today in a way that only NYC seems to really manage. The odors coming up from the subway are something else. My wife wonders why I have hardly any sense of smell (a major problem when she can smell on my breath that I had White Castle for lunch from four miles away). My nose is numb from 18 years of riding the subway!

        Well, better get some work done!

          Hi all

          Well Mike's place is out of coffee and the coffee here is so old that the spoon will not even dent it.

          So I guess no coffee today.

          Found a Krispy Kreme however, so all was not lost.

            Well the fact that White Castle hamburgers have beef liver in them might be the reason! It's what gives them that unique taste but as my youngest son says, "I ain't eating anything that used to clean the blood of an animal!"

              I missed your post earlier, but fate made me look at it now and see Mark's reference to White Castle Hamburgers. I have a meeting at work tonight and need to get some supper out. Four of five of the little buggers might just hit the spot![^]
