    Hello all

I know that we do not make a big deal out of the number of posts that each member has.

However at some point today Mike C. reached over 4000id="size6">id="red"> posts.

I would say that over 90% of these posts contained important information.

I would just like to say thanks to Mike who has been there to answer all of our questions.

    Some more than once.

My hats off to you Mike for what you have meant to this forum.

And the rest of them are full of praise & encouragement for the rest of us who are aspiring to model as well as he does!

Thanks for everything Mike![^] 8D [:-graduate]

I agree 100% with the above comments. I have been a member only for a short time, but in that short time I have learned a great deal from Mike. Some of these I have put to use and the others I know I will use in the future.

Mike, thanks for all your help & encouragement.

... and across the face of his tombstone someone had scrawled in magic marker,

He was a garrulous old fellow but mostly grammatical

Thanks, guys. I appreciate your putting up with all my blather and dither.

I enjoy sharing with others what I've learned or discovered about the hobby over the years. RR-L is a great forum (with a great bunch of "regulars") for doing that.

John, you do bring up a good point about the emphasis on posting numbers. IMHO, one of the best changes we made last November, when RR-L came back online, was to stop all that silliness about posting numbers. I'm quite content to have things the way they are now.
