Sounds good to me, Robin. 8D I'll unlock the Archive Forum sometime Monday afternoon, and you can post the tutorial whenever you're ready that evening. Thanks!

    To Tyson, Drew & Robin.

Those of us in the Horribly Oversize scale still admire your abilities and modelling in the "Nearly-there" scale. I would have to use 20X magnification or better to even see the details you guys seem to handle with ease.

    Great structure Robin.

Robin, once again thanks for what I consider to be a great honor! I have shown this to several friends here and they were blown away by it!! John I am nowhere near Robin when it comes to scratch building abilities, the man can run circles around me!!!!!!

Post it the same as a regular topic/thread. Just let me know when you are ready and I'll unlock the Archives. You can post it in there where it will remain intact without additional posts, comments, etc. (Similar to how Shamus handles it at The Gauge.) Then, if you want, you can also post it here in the Scratch Forum, where it will remain unlocked for comments and discussion.

Just let me know when you're ready to add it to the Archives.

I can do a tutorial Mike if you tell me how to get it posted? I have pictures that I took as this stucture was built.

Amazing, Robin, simply amazing!

You should write up a "how to" on your coal station and post it. I would welcome it as an addition to the forum's Archives.

    Hi Robin

    The upload works great.

I posted somewhere else that the work by Drew and Tyson makes me wonder why I picked HO.

I will add your work to this group for I am seeing some outstanding structures that can be done in N scale.

Also I bet yours are a lot less expensive than our HO structures.

    To put it simply

"You guys amaze me with your ability."

If you think that's amazing, add to that the fact that it's made from cardboard, & other little household detail parts...& then the next time you hear one of those curmudgeons talking about the era of "real modeling" being long gone, steer them over here & have them take a look at what Robin's done with this layout!

I can't imagine doing all of the rigging you did in N scale. Very nice work, Robin!

Robin, even if this weren't scratchbuilt in N, it would be a great model! The fact that it is scratchbuilt in N makes it incredible!

    Outstanding work

How about more photos and some construction details? [:P]

    Goad Junction

This new coal tower is scratchbuilt and serves the MAT. This part of the layout is just being put together with track laying, structures and sceniking still to come.

It is named after my good friend Tyson Rayles.

    This is N scale
Working...
