If anyone is out here, be sure to look for some SD-9's we have brought in to try on the transfer and other local switch jobs. It seem that many of these engines sit idle with no home, a result mostly of everyone wanting the late model geeps instead. The problem is we are running short of geeps and need to find other alternatives for local needs. If this works, they will be here long term.

I'll haf ta get up there and check 'em out. Loved watchin' the GN SD7s and 9s on the Iron Range. Never got tired of that lokie.

Last week I saw a photo of an SD-9 in the
Heritage paint scheme in a consist
going through Seattle. I really liked the
looks of it. I will have to see if I can get
a copy of the photo. I'm not sure if this is
something to watch for, or if it was just an
anomally. I like the SD-9's for some reason.
