  • Debbie: Hello from KY

Hello from Kentucky. How did an L & N fan get to be in Texas. Or is it "how did a Texas girl get to be an L & N fan"? I grew up in Louisville, Ky where I made frequent trips to Union Station in the 50's. My grandpa was a frequent passenger on the Southland. I also rode the "Kiddie Special" to Lebanon Junction during that time period.

Question? What year did L & N adopt the gray/yellow paint theme?

    Hi Jon,

Nice to see you here...this Forum needs another L&N fan...

I'm a fan of the L&N, because that's the RR that was around when I was growing up, in Tullahoma, Tn. I've been in TX for 22 years, but TN will always be "home" to me. I still have lots of Family and Friends there. Our home layout is part TN..part Husband was born here and models the T&P.

    Happy Railroading...pass it on!!
