recently while wandering around in my LHS, i decided to pick up some videos. one of the ones i bought was Beaumont Hill by Video Rails.
let me tell you, it is an excellent video. it shows the SP operations over Beaumont Hill in southern California, starting at Colton yard and showing the line all the way to Indio. it is the best video i have! it shows cars being humped in the yard, tracks being repaired after a flash flood, and tons of locomotives from the SP, SSW, D&RGW, and a bunch of leased units. I think the video was filmed in the eairly 1990's. after the D&RGW merger, but before the UP merger.
i would definately recommend this video to all SP lovers
