    The frankenstein GE switcher is great! I wonder why they didn't just leave the old diesel engine in it for traction (unless they used it somewhere else). Got any more shots of it? I would love to see them.

    The Don Ross photo looks like a Plymouth 18 ton, but don't quote me (unless someone else verifies it... :- ) Here is a link to a photo I took of a (similar looking) Plymouth 18 ton switcher that was in use at the GATX Colton, California facility in the late 1970s and early 1980s:

    I think it's a Whitcombe. They made a range of little industrial locos.

    Hi, I am new to the forum. My name is Tim and I live in Marion Ohio. Here is a pic of a GE 90 ton with one moter removed and replaced by a large block of cement. I was wondering if anyone els had odballs to share.
