    What you saw was an SD70MAC in the 'executive scheme'. BN used these early on in the mid 90s along with the SD60Ms for their coal unit trains. BNSF now uses mostly MACs for this, but the MACs also come in the Heritage II scheme. I was under the impression that ONLY MACs came in the 'executive' version, until I seen some 'pumpkin' SD70MACs.

      Bill, according to GE's Dash Nine website, the BNSF has over 600 Dash Nines running around their system. They're seem to be catching up with the 800 plus SD70MACs purchased by the railroad!
