I am having problems with the software. When I start the program it has a dialog box pop up and says something about a default printer not being selected. Do you have to have a printer to use this software or what is the deal. thanks for any info.

Jack, you need to have a printer driver installed, not a printer. you can install any printer driver from the windows disk and it will work.
