I voted other. At present it is in an added porch which is really the laundry room and was once the kids play room. With rooms always changing in my house (mostly due to child growth) I guess that I am glad that I only have a small N-scale layout at present. At only 2.5x4 feet, it is very portable!

mine is going to be located in an old single wide mobile home. i am in the process of gutting it out right now. it looks like it will work pretty well. and if i move, i can take it with me

In the basement. I discussed it with the wife, when we are ready to buy a house, my requirement is a nice dry big basement. I guess that I'll have to give up some room for the furnace and stuff and storage

Mine is in my basement, although to hear my wife tell it, you'd swear it was in every room of the house.

She's become unreasonable about my storage space needs.

Mine is in a spare bedroom, Daughters got married, I moved in. In those days, I had plenty of Brownie points with the wife. Nowadays, I have to earn them the hard way. Hmmmm.

Hi ya Gang,

I built a room over my garage. It is a 24' x 24' and layout is 17' x 24' with no windows and rounded built in corners. Workplace is on a surplus metal office desk. Just need to learn to keep organized.

Current layout is in storage. Future layout will be in a specially built structure that is awaiting funding approval. In the process of having a 60'x100' building constructed to house my hobbies. The building will house a 40'x60' layout room, 20'x20' wood shop, 20'x40' lounge and 40'x60' auto work shop, with a full bath as apart of the lounge for good messure. Guess it could qualify for the ultimate Dog House.
