  • Get The Word Out For New Members

Now that Atlas closed their forum 'til 7/15, it's an excellent opportunity to email some of your friends in the Atlas forums to join here. The RR Line forums are an outstanding meeting and sharing place for all those temporarily 'homeless' Atlas frequenters. Just a suggestion. I'll be doing my share......

    Lou.

Thanks brakie, I just don't get over there anymore. Let's hope they hit the road with some new product announcements!

Maybe a Southern SD24 or N&W Trainmaster. Some more early generation EMD road switchers in C&O or Chessie/C&O would also be nice(all in HO scale of course) !!!!

P.E That would be nice to have GP7s,9s in the C&O blue and yellow-not that I need any more! But,if they would make them I would buy some. I keep sending e mails to life like and asked them to do the GP9 in the C&O blue and yellow. Maybe they will get tired of me doing that and make them.

id=quote>id=quote>Not really. I get the impression that the forum is high-maintenance with moderating and such done by Atlas employees. They're on vacation, so they shut it down. No biggie.

yes, they have done it before. I understand why. in three weeks it could easily get out of hand with no one there to moderate.

I hate to see the forum down for that period of time, but it is a wise move on their part. There have been some potentially nasty comments over there of late, and they could easily escalate.

Every one see the announcment of more caboose colors and names?? They have even included the NWs red scheme which caused a few folks some heartburn earlier. Glad to see that Atlas is very responsive to folks and their requests.id=size4>id=red>

On another vein. I saw my first presentation of the new SD35 yesterday. Man, is that puppy beautiful!!!! Atlas has come a long way from their first effort back in '74. That SDP35 left me drooling. But alas, I need no more motive power.
