    Howdy Hi Everybody,

          GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!

          AND WELCOME TO THE NEWCOMERS!

It's a sunny day (finally!) but chilly (40) here at the beee-u-tee-ful Lake of the Ozarks! The local weather weenies tell us we will have 5 days without rain! I'll believe it when I see the 5th dry day
          id=green>

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

Good morning to all from the chilly North Coast.

Congratulations to our new General Officers - if it seems like we're getting lopsided at the top it's only because we have a lot of passionate people in the forums.

Welcome to you new folks, you're gonna like it here, I betcha!

Hey, Nelson, sorry I missed the virtual breakfast - I was out with a friend from church having a REAL one: a Western Omelette and home fries, with lots of hot coffee! That's why I'm late for roll call.

Phil, are you still at home or are you in Atlantic City? I sure hope it isn't snowing on the beach and boardwalk! If you're in upstate NY I can certainly understand the snow. We were joking about the possibility here in northeast Ohio yesterday, since it's been flirting with the low 30s and we've had a bunch of rain.

I'd just as soon that spring would really get here, but there's plenty to do indoors, too!

I'm hopeful it will be a great railroading day for you all. And, from one Buckeye to another, a special Buckeye hello to Brakie out in Buc-Erie!

Good morning all. It's pouring here in MA. No complaints, we need the rain badly.

                  Good Morning All!!!! o..0

Hmmm...just poured my java, can't get the eyes to open right, and having to hold on to climb to the monitor! About 40 going to 50, maybe some drizzle today here in SE MI. With all the chilly weather, I'm surprised so few posts. c|_|~~~~ (slurp!) Ahhh!! That's better! Anyone need a refil??

I'll probably go out today, and play with my 'ho (big yellow thing, has a scoop on one end, bucket on the other says "Deere" on the side) and get some things in order, for my appraiser for my loan. Trying to get some train money...er, I main building material funds...so I can get my improvment projects going! Hopefully, I can get enough junk and brush to gether to make a nice fire later today.

Anyway, you all have a good one! Hope none of you need to use your rerailers! If you run, or go trainwatching...have one for me!

                  Best,

                    Alan,

I'm still in Albany, I leave tomorrow morning for 5 days on the Boardwalk. Then 1 day in NYC for a meeting and field trip before I come home for the Holiday. Gsaltys is still complaining that this is a vacation not a business trip!! I told her she could come, but she is saving her time for a summer vacation we are planning. Also I don't think she would really see me much as my schedule is pretty full (all those Casino's and such).

Brakie, have fun at ye ol' shoppe. I always enjoy visiting my shop and talking one of the customers into purchasing something he is debating about. Dunno if'n that's good or bad, but tis enjoyable.

I 'are' off to the club today to do some scenery work. Have a fine week end, er, Strong Beginning.id=size5>

Hi all you RRers! Another sunny day here and a list of "honey do's" as long as my arm. Hope the mailman brings me something nice today! Have a great "strong beginning" everybody! BTW, I think I'll stick with "the mighty Merle" as my favorite "singing railroader"! (No offense Paul!)

The words just kind of fit in on that song.

                              'Tis the season for railroading!

Fa la la la la la la la la la!

Hook 'em up and get em rolling!

Fa la la la la la la la la la

Don we know, our pinstripe caps...

                              etc.
