      Another day of model railroading beckons.

      By the way, grit is what we put down on our roads over here in the UK to reduce the effect of snow and ice.

      However, donuts are still donuts over here!

            A soggy good morning from New England. But hey, I'm not complaining - we need the rain.

            But I do need a strong cup of coffee this morning. My little ones kept me up last night (and I'm not talking about my N-scale trains for you HO comedians out there).

                  The sirens went off three times last night, so my wife grabbed the dog and headed for the basement three times. I stayed in the kitchen with the cat and watched the weather weenies become unnaturally excited for the tv cameras. 7+ inches of rain here in the KC area since Sunday night! And more on the way....

                  Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

                    Good morning. No tornados here in Indy but plenty of rain. I left Florida two years ago because it was too humid.... now it's drier than New Mexico!

                      Good morning Nelson and every one,

                      Rain, rain, and more rain.We used to have a small G-guage layout in the back yard.The only way we could use it now is to have boat races.MikeC could run his seadoo out there.

                            P.S. One time someone told me to put grits on fire ant mounds...they would eat the grits and blow up...(I admit I'm gullible)...what a waste of grits! After the grits...all we got were fat fire ants.
