    Modeling the NYC railroad

    Hey cool! How do we organize this? Have everyone list their material on a topic as it comes up? For instance I listed a book on Baldwins. Would I wait until the subject of the Espee came up before I listed my stuff on that topic? Be nice to figure out a way to keep this from getting too hard to use.

For example, anyone with SP info should post it in the SP topic thread, and don't start a new topic each time someone wants to talk about the Espee. If your info pertains to the BN, feel free to start a new topic thread.

            Here's another suggestion for organizing:

            Maintain a thread that's just for info/help requests (maybe call it "Information Please" or something to that effect.). People who are looking for specific information or drawings or whatever can post their request in that thread. But to maintain the integrity of the thread (i.e., keep it from being cluttered with whole lot answers and opinions), responses should be made directly to the requester via email.

            At the same time, if the question and answer is of general interest and might appeal to a number of people, then they can be posted in a separate thread.

            What do you guys think?
