    Since I am still healing from my triple by-pass and spending a lot of time on my butt I needed a project to work on to keep what little sanity I have left intact.



    Last friday a friend gave me a basketcase N scale LifeLike SW9/12.I put her back together and in typical modern LL fashion she ran like a dream.Unfortunately she was too busted up to repair so I am building this little boxcab diesel from her remains.

    I still have aways to go yet and yes those ugly rapidos are definately going.

            Awesome Catt! That should be real nice when finished. The thing that I like about boxcabs is that they were all almost unique. Here is a pic of a boxcab the Hoffman Valley RR shops did from a caboose and 0-6-0 switcher mechanism:
