Hey ShayDriver, guess there ain't, or they are staying low and watching the males talk funny!

I've heard them on other forums so I'm surprised there aren't a few here already. Guess we have to cast the nets wider.

      Hey Walt,

Oh I know that there are at least one or two here, but I guess that they are just shy model railroaders.

My wife is celebrating a good day at work today, so she just walked in with a fresh hot fudge sunday for me while I was reading Walt's posting.

Here, Dear, type something and become the first lady on this forum.

Hi Boys. Your trains sure are cute!

Don't thank her, Nelson. It only encourages her to say stuff like that.

            Cute! Indeed!

Yeah, they know we're "cute." Just like our "electric train sets" are "cute."

                    Hello Guys and Gals,

I hope there are some other Gals out there... Let's give the Guys something to talk about! I'm the only woman in our Ho and N model railroad club. I am also in a Garden Railroading club, which is made up of mostly couples. Since Bobbye Hall retired, I am the only woman working in a model train hobby shop in this area. I've built alot of structures also, and the two that I am most proud of are a Carr's Parts kit modified with a Main Streets Graphics kit to be a Harley Davidson Shop..complete with lots of Harleys, and the DPM Gold Series Coal River and Freight Depot. I scratch build also...but I want to hear from ya'll. I model the L&N Railroad as that's what I remember from my childhood in Tennessee. Of course, it has a Jack Daniels car on it also.

                    Thanks for your time,

                    L and N Debbie

Welcome to the forum, Debbie. I think it'll be great to have the perspective of a hobby/train shop owner in some of the forum threads.
