Hi Mark,
Good News!! Finally the tree trimming at the Horseshoe Curve has begun. The loggers started today. They are currently working on the one viewing window on the right side of the curve.
From what I understand...the whole project will take between 4-6 weeks with large viewing windows on both sides and alot of center trees and brush removed. I sure hope the railfans come up this summer and see the work in progress.

Horseshoe Curve Fans
The Horseshoe Curve will open this year on April 7 trees and all. Yes the trees are still there. The trimming project that was suposed to take place over the winter never happened.Now its not to be compleated till mid summer.-Mark L-
