Welcome, Dennis. There's a great, helpful, and friendly group here. My lady friend and I have spent numerous nights in Ritzville when passing through on our motorcycle trips.

    Best Regards, Jim

      Dennis,

Welcome to the forum, from another eastern Washington resident. I'm just south on 395 from Ritzville in the Tri-Cities. Great place with two model railroad shops!!!

Gosh. Thank you all for your comments; I appreciate them and the thoughts.

Marc: I can find no email address for you. I'm at: dbt@ritzville.com

Al, Kirkland: regards to the West side. Thank you for the invite...I make it over there about once a year, usually up to Skagit County.

Jim, I guess Ritzville is not new to you. We're half way between there and Odessa.

SteveW: Thanks for the note. I am aware of the shop PF&S has NE of Pasco. Where is the other you referred to? Not much in Ritzville but we do have a Saturday Train Show now once a year in October.

        Regards to All, Dennis

Welcome Dennis! Glad you have stopped lurking and have taken the first step in getting involved with the forum. Lot's of great people here. While I live in NJ, my brother is a long time resident of Washington. First Bellevue, now Bellingham. I am however familiar with your part of the state as I have traveled to Lake Roosevelt on a couple of occassions to enjoy a week on one of the houseboats up there. In fact, I'm planning a return trip there next summer! A beautiful state!!!

              Dennis,

Concerning the other shop in TriCities. Try Parkade Hobbies in the Kennewick Parkade. It is primarily a MMR shop.
