    Longest Loggers Saw I Ever Did See !

    Get aload of this saw. I came across this photo hangin on a wall in the Nv State Legislative Building. It seemed beckoned to be photographed. Looks like these fellas were taking down a huge school marmed tree. Year is unknown, my guess would be the location is most likely somewhere in Northern Cailfornia. Anyone care to venture a guess on the length of the saw

    Ive seen a few pics of similar saws in some of my logging books, which were actually 2 saws welded together, which probably made a few of those saws upwards of maybe 20' long. It often took a bit of creative thinking to bring some of them big trees down...
