    Thanks Nelson & Frederic

Rolling stock is probably my favorite area of the hobby, which makes it surprising at how little I actually have. I have plans for several pieces of all different types, but I have to build a layout sometime to run this stuff!

Nice cars Cody. The west side caboose is my favorite. Nice start on the Carter flatcar.

    Rolling Stock for The DK-and-SR

    Greetings folks,

I've finished some old and started some new rolling stock projects and thought I'd start an overall thread for my Darjeeling, Kisofukushima & Saco River HOn30/HOn3 layout.

The first piece of rolling stock built for the Maine section is a Chivers gondola, primed and ready for paint:

Second, for the lumbering portion of the layout, I finally finished a skeleton log car, scratchbuilt from stripwood based on a Keystone Model Works white metal kit:

    Detail:

And I think I may have posted this before, but here's a new shot:

It's a West Side Lumber Co. caboose #3, assembled from a Durango Press kit.

In the works is a pair of disconnects for the Kiso Forest Railway made from kits from Modellwagen: http://www.modellwagen.com/product/09113.html and a 28' Carter Flatcar:

    More soon!
