PROTO 1000 Alco RS-2?

I am familiar and appeciate the Proto 2000 line of locomotives; but with modeling a not-so-popular railroad, you have to look at everything with your road name. Life-Like is bringing out an RS-2 in their Proto-1000 line. Is the 1000 like Walthers' trainline? Kind of like: it moves, it says the correct name; but don't look to close at it? Anyone out there familiar with the Proto 1000 line?

The P1K was Lifelike's, now Walther's watered down version of P2K. Less details, but motors wre the same. The trainline is Walther's own line. Basically with P1K, you're missing grabirons and extra details. mike h.
