Thanks everyone  Feels good spending some time at the bench.

Here is the almost completed storage shelves.

Just need to add some chains, a welding apron and other junk.

Tim, the gears came from an old vcr. Amazing what one finds inside of those things. All the 'metal' is from plastruct which was a pain to cut, paint and weather but added to the little scene.

I love it, Ken. The shelves and their contents. I agree with Rick on the super look of the door paint.

Super modeling Ken, did you make the detail parts too? they really look fantastic.

    Good eye for detail.

    Very nice.

I like the worn look of the paint on the door.

Red rags are a nice touch too.

    Thanks Tim.

While working on the bench, I thought a little more storage space was in order, so I put this together for parts Tim might need.

Made some hinges for the door also. Still need to fill it up.

    Wow ...those are gorgeous!

Love the rags and those springs should work well in my cot if I get a lump some where.

    Nice Work Ken!

I have a little bit of progress to report. The bench is coming along, although rather slow. Still need to add some tools and glue it down.

    Welcome back Tim.

There is a cot in the shop. I know you'll need to nap now and then

    Hi Ken,

Wow the structure and details look sharp. Glad to see it back on the bench. That front sign displaying 6:00 am as opening time....holy smolie Ken[:-sleep] I am still sleeping then.

No doubt about the fumes, they can make a guy a bit[:-drunk]

I did post a photo of a hornets nest in the wildlife thread, its been so long I had to figure out how to post pictures again. :erm:

Keep up the good work, I hopefully will be checking in more now that fall has arrived.

Ken, thanks for posting these pictures. It's really a very nice model, and rediscovering it after this long gap helps to watch it again with a fresh mind. Beautiful!

Thanks Al. Tim's only about 4hrs down the road. Maybe I need to go knock on his door

Well Tom, Tim didn't have much luck with his racing career. That's why it's under the tarp. You see, his reflexes are sort of slow. Too many welding fumes I guess...

Being an old dragracer it looks like a old dragmaster chassie under the tarp could be worth big bucks depending whos it was .Tom
