    Boy, how time flies. I've finally gotten back to this one. Don't know where Tim has been hiding, but I hope he knows I have not forgoten about his shop.

    Anyways, the gates are almost done and installed. They work pretty well.



    The dragster is done and placed in it's resting spot...





    And now I'm just adding some details...a place for Tim to rest his weary bones



    And I'm working on this bench...

        Just read 16 pages of this thread.

        Many modeling tips included.

        Really like the finer touches, such as the padlock & handles.

            Ken. All is good back here. I just pickup some more USA dollars for future trip to see you guys.

            So many great detailing ideas recently on the RRL. I will be glad when I finish building modules and getting on with detailing stuff that you and others are doing. It all takes time.

            PS. You have some models in the background on one of your photos... Downtown Deco ???. Is there a thread for that build...

              That's part of a 8' diorama I've been working on for years. Redbird Taxi on one end and Booty Corner on the other with the three Addam Avenue's, JJ Holenders, Gravely and a scratch built cafe in the middle.

                Looks good Ken and the details make a big difference. :up: :up:

                Maybe this thread will bring Tim back to the forum as he has been very quiet for a while.

                      Being an old dragracer it looks like a old dragmaster chassie under the tarp could be worth big bucks depending whos it was .Tom

                        Well Tom, Tim didn't have much luck with his racing career. That's why it's under the tarp. You see, his reflexes are sort of slow. Too many welding fumes I guess...

                              Hi Ken,

                              Wow the structure and details look sharp. Glad to see it back on the bench. That front sign displaying 6:00 am as opening time....holy smolie Ken[:-sleep] I am still sleeping then.

                              No doubt about the fumes, they can make a guy a bit[:-drunk]

                              I did post a photo of a hornets nest in the wildlife thread, its been so long I had to figure out how to post pictures again. :erm:

                              Keep up the good work, I hopefully will be checking in more now that fall has arrived. :up:
