WOW Ken, the brick carving looks terrific, very well done.
Are we planning a grand opening? The way the truss business is right now I might do better in the welding world.
It might be time to put my cape back on and turn into Trussman again.....

Started on the roof. Not quite sure, but I think I will add stones to it along with lots of tar.
As you can see, flat black paint is not flat when sprayed at 20deg

Finally made a little progress.
Mixed up a batch of tar and spread it along the roof seams.
Also made a cement cap and installed it. Still need to distress it a little more. The door and hinges are installed along with the sign. Still need to add the bolts to it.
(The white hole above the door is for the light)

I'm a new member and just finished reading through the topic from the beginning. Having just started in 1:20 modeling, I learned plenty following along especially your detailing of the oil drums, doors and windows and the incredible sign! Great craftsmanship all around. I look forward to following this through.

Just a little progress. The cap is installed and weathered and the light is also installed. Still need tp paint and weather that.

Just a little more progress. The building is pretty much done for now. Have the concrete slab installed and weathered. Still need to add the step.
I'm currently working on a couple of metal signs.
And on this side I'll be adding a rack for some metal storage.
And soon it's on to the base.
