  • Wednesday morning lounge

Good morning all, from 67f and overcast N.E.Indiana, rain on the way. The coffee urn is READY with Switchman's blend today. The special is Steak and Eggs, grits and toast.

Fresh Oranges with an unknown country of origin sticker stuck on each one.

Zippo modeling done yesterday, but I picked a lot of branches off the grass from the wind storm a couple of days ago, and then mowed about 2 acres of grass out front.

Maybe some bench time today with the incoming rain.

    Have a Super day!

    Jim

Supposed to get into the mid to upper 80's today. Been to the store and have a load of landscaping stone to install - got to rip out one partial wall and put in an entire system around the back of the house, so I'm off to that now before I get par boiled.

Afternoon is office and shop time in the cool basement!

Good morning, Jim, Martin, and incoming crew. It's around 70F here in northern WV. A warm pleasant day ahead.

We're headed to our daughter's place soon with a scheduled stop at a Home Depot to buy a hose. We are taking the usual meals both for today and for the freezer.

Some modeling yesterday but none today.

      Have a great day!

      Mike

Temp in 60s with off and on light rain this am. Allllmost got to 80 yesterday and was a real nice day. Spent a fair bit of time on the mowing machine and limb patrol. It’s cooler and damp today.

        No big plans.

        Everyone have a fine day.

Good morning from Central Wisconsin, actually Stevens Point, home of Sentry Insurance. I saw my friend yesterday afternoon into the evening hours. He is in Hospice with little time left per his wife. The son and his uncle are in a meeting with some attorneys and when they are done we will head home to So. Central Wisconsin.

I will meet with the SIL and son this evening and then the daughter and son tomorrow morning. I figure that if Terry really wants to spend the majority of our time in the Islands I have to be sure the kids are on board and can handle stuff here without us looking over their shoulders.

I hope to get to my trains and bench on Thursday.

Jim, holy gripe! You really have upped the morning menu while I was gone. I am trying to review the lounge info I missed while away from my IPadPro. I will have the steak with scrambled eggs.

          Enjoy your day

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is drizzly and 68 degrees here in S.E. Michigan. We should see the mid-70's later today.

We are heading out to look at some Speed Queen washers and dryers this morning. After that, I will head to the basement.

              Have a great day!

Good morning, Jim and crew. It's a nice warm day in Tidewater Virginia. We just returned from a trip to Costco. Next is a walk and then some yard work. If I get to the workbench, it will be to straighten things up. It's a mess.

                Have a good day.

No pork products brought about since the rioters/looters (peaceful protesters) after the announcement. due to the $.35 tariff on second trips through the line. Maybe we'll slip in a sausage tomorrow morning.&nbsp &nbsp

                      Good afternoon folks

It is 82 and feeling a little humid. High is supposed to be 85.

Yesterday I ran over to Grainger and picked up the piping parts I need for the pond filter. Got home and tested everything and it works. I had to modify one of the holes in the top of the filter for the new location for the fountain piping. Ordered the activated carbon and zeolite for the filter which arrived this morning as Amazon promised. Moved the water lilies from the deep end to the shallow. Pulled the heater. I got everything put together on the filter and put in the pond. It is working nicely.

I didn’t get any modeling done yesterday. Not sure what happened but just ran out of time somehow.

My daughter is taking her certification test for counseling today. One of the steps in getting her professional licensing. Having this certification also means she can receive payments from health insurance companies when the time comes. Since there were no locations nearby giving the test she has to drive to Dover, DE about an hour and twenty minutes one way.

Today I want to see if I can work some more on the cinder conveyor.

Did the chores around the house. Going to run to the produce store and deli in a few.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good evening, all. The coast north of Boston has had rain showers early and late in the day, with some pale sun around lunchtime. I spent the morning measuring rail, which I didn't have to move, and the afternoon measuring ties. Equipment did most of the moving but I still had to move a few. Tonight is work on the Mill City 2021 convention.
