Ron thank you for the compliments. Definitely wouldn't want to live in something like
that up in your neck of the woods.
Michael thanks; much appreciated.
Bruce thank you and thanks for dropping by.
Roland thank you. That trick I learned as a kid putting model cars together. When I would get
glue on the windows it would look like it was fogged up; which didn't look too good and since
I don't have any Dullcoat I used the next best method.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad

Moving right along with a quick update:
This is the left end wall with the signs added. After cutting the signs off the sheet they were dusted with brown/gray chalk
and added some clear alcohol to blend everything in. Some of the signs were glued haphazardly to look like they were
starting to fall off the building.
The corner pieces have been colored and weathered to match the rest of the building. That will be the next project in order
to get the building glued together.
That's about it for now with more to come.

Scott thank you, much appreciated.
Jerry thanks. I've never done windows like that before and was pleased with the results.
Mike thank you and yes the building will be placed on a foundation with a front porch
to catch all the clutter.
Rick thanks. Yes I made a few knot holes on the front and the left side; didn't want to over due
those so just a few.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad

Looks great Larry. Did all those details ( saw blade, horseshoes etc) come with the kit ?
The door hinges are a very nice feature. We don't always model them.
Wood colouring looks good too.Regards Rob
Despite the cost of living, it's still popular

Rob thank you for the compliments. Yes all the detail stuff came with the kit. Sierra West kits
tend to be a little pricey but comes with tons of excellent detailing parts; I haven't even scratched
the surface yet with all of the parts provided.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad
