Larry, that happens to all of us, especially me, LOL. Seems like the recliner is my friend all too often. Hang in there, indeed, this too will pass. ~mike
Mike thanks for the encouragement. Usually if I stay away from the bench for
a few days, then I feel like modeling once again; although some of the time away
from the bench is due to life's duties.

Here is a small update while I'm working on the foreground:
Added a few weeds to kind of fill in around the items in the front to make it look better.
Planted a few weeds at the corner of the Garage and behind the oil barrel, even though they
didn't show up too well in the photo. Also added a set of steps under the door.
This is where I'm at while work continues on the first foreground area. When the building
is finished in that area I'll post some photos. Until next time.

I like what you're doing, Larry. Sorry I've been otherwise distracted to have kept up with your progress. As a fan of gas stations and repair shops I appreciate this one.
Every added detail keeps the interest going in a foreground area Larry. After a few of this and that, here and there, you end up with a master piece, which you seem to be heading there real easily.

Karl thanks for stopping by and glad you like what you see.
Louis thank you for your kind words. After the foreground areas are finished
I'll probably go back over what's been done and add a little of this and that.
Michael thank you, much appreciated.
Jerry thank you. I agree small bits added here and there make the scene come alive.

The foreground is starting to take shape so here's what I've been up to:
I had a few Ho scale shells kicking around so I thought why not make use of one. This is the start of a shed for the
foreground. After hacking up the shell I ended up with a shed 10 'x 6' x 6.5' which is a good size for a shed.
The shell was covered in scale 1x6's and 1x4's for the boards and 4x4's for the support posts. The entire shed was painted then
weathered with some A&I.
The metal roof is made from a print on 100# paper and the walkway is from a scale 2x12 stained with only A&I.
Here is the end with a door and added hinges which was a first for me. Curved tweezers have become my new
best friend. I still need to figure out a foundation to go underneath and a ramp to get inside.
Once the foundation is done along with a ramp then I'll place it where it needs to go. Once done then the scenery
material will start and the detail parts will follow. This is the start to a few mini scenes for the foreground area.
Comments/suggestions are always welcome. Until next time.
