Wow, can't believe how fast this thread slipped to the second page; lots of great modeling going on
in this forum. Besides wanting to get back to page one, I wanted to show off my latest acquisition, thanks Rick:
Here is the flat bed truck that I acquired parked beside the garage and it does fill up the area quite well. Also here is an "old time"
gas pump I bought from Wiseman; still needs a touch of weathering.
Here it is parked on the road; looks like it's going to be a one way street. The truck has enough "chipped paint" to make it
look well used. I may modify the bed slightly but I'm going to add detailing parts to the bed area so Ray has what he needs
just in case he gets a call for help.
I've had a period of being very busy so work has slowed done some, but hopefully that's behind me somewhat; and I was able to get
back to page one again.
Any comments/suggestions/thoughts are greatly appreciated so until next time.Last edited by Larryc; 10-10-2021, 10:32 AM.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad

Mike thanks and it's getting there slow but sure.
Jerry thank you. I was rather pleased when the truck arrived in the mail.
Still want to add some details to the truck bed.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad

Rick thanks. You did a great job wrapping it for shipment.
Yes I think it looks good for the garage area. It'll look even
better after a few detail parts are added to the truck bed.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad

The front area of the garage is finished so I thought I'd share a couple of photos with you:
The old time gas pump is a kit from Wiseman and the oil reservoir and coke machine are from Berkshire Models. They are
a new source for me and was quite impressed with their service and prices.
The oil reservoir is painted yellow and weathered with A&I which made it look well used. The gas pump hose had some diluted raw sienna
applied to dirty it up a bit. Also the coke machine is a resin casting and painted to correct "coke red" color.
This is what the garage looks like with the front and roof removed. I did order a coke case with 24 bottles which will be
painted and placed inside in front of the red garbage can and probably a bottle on the work bench as well.
Here's a question: where can I buy some decent looking "little people" from. The woodland scenery ones are too generic.
I was hoping for some standing with their arms out so that they can be set in front of work benches and machines. If
anyone has any ideas that would be great.
That's the garage area so far, now on to the door side outside for some detailing there. Any ideas/comments/suggestions would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking; util next time.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad
