The destroyer, USS Johnston, sank in battle back in 1944.
Now found at 21,180 feet.

Thanks for posting this Rob. Always interested in Naval History. "Tin can" sailors like submariners are a special breed.

As an ex-Tin Can swab jockey, I love stories about the 'little boys' and their exploits. Would not have wanted to serve on anything else.
