On30 on code 75 track

    On30 on code 75 track

    Hi!

    After tearing down my HO-layout with code 75 track I have more than 30 points and 2 boxes of track, half of it unused. What about using that track on an On30 layout. Will the wheel flanges go clear, like the Bachmann 2-6-0 Mogul. I have one but packed away somewhere but I have been pushing around an On30 boxcar without any issues.

    I use code 70 so you should be fine. One of the top ON30 modelers uses HO track and you really can not tell if you bury it in dirt or ballast. Remember many ON30 drives are reconfigured HO drives.

      Thanks for the answer BigLars, I will consider using the Code 75 tracks. I have some used Peco On30 track too but don't fancy the looks of them and the tight radius on the points/turnouts.
