    • Good morning Rick, Mike, Philip, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening Rick, no better way to start our day, but with a chat and cup of brew.

That Zwift is interesting. Seems to be a fun way to ride in place. Sorry to hear of your numbness in your feet, that has to be a pain at times I'm sure.

It's 64 and sunny here in Rhode Island. I did some more work on my camp split store. Taking more time than I expected. Posted updates.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. See you all on the Forum.

      • Good morning from dreary Wisconsin. The weather guy on TV said we are reaching our peak of color changes. The trees just started changing and we are at the peak already, going to check it out today.

Work on the layout is now ongoing till the 22nd as I leave the 23rd. Lots of little things are turning into more involvement, see the morning lounge for pictures.

The mud pond was a huge success and fun. Thankfully we still have the outdoor shower in operation.

        enjoy the day

        • Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee and good luck at the Docs; hopefully he can help your feet out.
Nice riding program, looks interesting. At least riding indoors you don't have to worry about
the weather or idiot drivers. Enjoy lunch.

Mike hope the garage visit with the car goes well. How's the train room progressing.

Philip good luck with the turnout printing; you could save yourself a lot of $.

Louis I'll have to check out your progress later; keep at it I'm sure it'll be a winner
          when finished.

          Tom loved the photo.....so true.

Rest of the Crew have a great day.

A cool 61 this morning here in New York with a high of 73. Ran to Wegmans early this
morning for drugs for the Mrs. and myself. The store was actually slow for a Thursday.
Hopefully some bench time later to fix and add a couple of things to the Garage area.

Hope everyone has a fine day. Be safe and stay healthy.

          • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 83.

Larry, weather and cars were two of the reasons I went with my indoor set-up, getting a flat 10 - 20 miles from home was another.

Tom, I saw what you're doing on the layout in the other lounge.
            Your layout is impressive.

Louis, biggest issue with the numbness is it's uncomfortable wearing shoes most of the time.

Philip, how'd the turnout turn out?

Karl, how's the video coming along?

Neurologist didn't have any answers for me.
I was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome (it's an autoimmune condition that restricts blood flow to extremities) 5 years ago and the neurologist suggested I see a rheumatologist.

After my doctors visit I had another wonderful lunch with Jerry and Diane.
I ate way too much again but can't wait to go back and do it again.

Bike ride after I finish here and then breakfast.
I'll mow the backyard and work on a few other chores.
            Monthly dinner with friends tonight.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, a question for the group.
Yesterday I noticed a bunch of saved contacts and phone numbers disappeared from my phone.
I mentioned this to Jerry and he said the same happened to him.
            Anyone else experience this?

            Have a great day everyone.

Like crap man! Having to dump the project into Fusion 360 because of the limitation go kiddycad. Now Fusion 360 will not load as my free subscription expired. Tried all day today and it gets to 98% then reverts back to 88% in a cycle over and over. So POed! My operating system had mega ram and storage so I'm stuck. No one there supports hobbist.

          • Bright sun but only in the 40s here looking out from the bunker. Quiet and still at Northern Command. The drive up was without trouble but there was a lot of rain in the form of heavy misty variety that came and went the middle of the mitten to just South of the bridge, fog as well at times had visibility reduced. Folks still run b**ls to the wall whether they can see or not. Once across into the UP the precip ended and as we got closer to "the swamp" it cleared out and was quite nice, temp got to mid 60s.

I went back to U-Tube and changed the settings to my little video. It seems to be accessible now. Give it a try...https://youtu.be/KTCpWvhSiYA

The software now has me writing in Read I can't figure that out

There, posted the above then moved to EDIT and have my color back.

The information you posted Rick does look interesting, I can't understand the current trend of using spokespersons that look like they just got out of bed. Interesting about the circulation, Rick, I have constant discomfort in the lower legs and feet and contributed it to my diabetic status. Fingers give me fits that may, or may not, be carpal tunnel. Take 2 aspirin and call in the morning. I can still hold an exacto and tweezers to make stuff and hate the idea of docs and what has become politicalization of things medical. Intrusive questioning and institutional rigidity that actually led to my long term Doc leaving. -end-

Time to get at the day, everyone be well.

It's 64 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island. Not sure what my day will bring yet, but there is still a lot of work needed on my split camp store project.

            • Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.

A sunny/59 here in South Jersey. Later on 80!!

Had a great lunch yesterday with Rick. We all ate to much but like Rick said we can't wait to go back and do it again!!

Errands to run today then maybe some bench time later on.

Rick I checked with the Mobile Co yesterday when they set up out new phones!! They had no idea why it happened!!

I hope all of you have a wonderful day!!

              • Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the java. Enjoy your dinner with your friends but don't eat too much.
I checked my phone and all my contacts are still in tact. What happened to you and Jerry
is rather odd. Do you both use the same company?

Karl I'll have to check out your video. Diabetics and feet are a bad combination. My late
Mother in law had a constant battle with hers. Luckily my Doc is still being a doc; it's the
hospitals that scare the crap out of me!!

Louis your project is looking mighty good; keep up the good work.

Jerry hope you get to the bench later today. Errands have a way of getting in the way
of getting on with your day.

To the rest of the Crew hope your day goes well.

A cloudy 61 with a high of 75 here in New York. The trees are starting to turn nicely; soon it'll
be time for a ride up in the hills. Not sure what's on tap for the day.

Have a great safe and healthy day.

                • Good morning Crew. It may hit 49f degrees in So. Central Wisconsin today. But next week back to some 70’s.

Karl, glad to read you made it back to Northern Command. Enjoy. I need to check your video out

Louis, this is a great way to start the day

larryC, we seemed to have missed our Wisconsin shot at the Fall color change, enjoy NY’s when you can

Jerry, glad lunch with Rick was a good time

Rick, thanks on the layout comment. It was 84’ of main with probably that amount in switching trackage until July of this year. I have added 60’ of main and 120’ of framework. Didn’t realize in July when I expanded we were giving the kids the house in October and getting rid of all our side businesses. I am have a supply shortage in track to finish off the main and staging yard under. Now, I am cleaning up, adding weathering and details to hopefully get the paper mill to roughly 80% done

Feet pain, I have been fortunate in that as a diabetic I haven’t had feet pain earlier. I get a numbness now. Fingers, occasionally I get lobster finger like and I can’t move them, not often but when I do, it hurts. My GP doctor blames everything on being a diabetic. I read about the daily doze of baby aspirin on Monday, now they say don’t take it if over 60. Well emailed the doctor because I do take one a day. His reply was, you being a diabetic should take it.

Doctors quitting, 2 previous of my GP’s when we were in the Marshfield Health Systems in Central Wisconsin who each became good friends quit because of excessive paperwork and government interference. One became the head Doctor for Liberty Insurance in Wausau and his group reviewed the disputed claims. The other at age 48 moved even further north and became a horse farmer. Pretty soon we will be being examined by robots that hopefully can speak clear English.

Womens hockey at noon on TV then the trainroom this afternoon before fish fry out tonight if the patio has the overhead warmers. If not, it’s pickup curbside for home eating.

                  Enjoy the day

                  • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. High near 79.

Tom, hope your hockey team won and got to enjoy your fish fry.

Larry, no, we both us different carriers.
I did get my numbers back by changing a setting on my phone.
I'm sure there's a way to do it (I need to research) of locking the phone when you put in your pocket and random settings getting changed.

                    Jerry, any bench time?

Louis, any more progress on your plit camp store?

Karl, video looked good and that's a beautiful area your at.
Adding background music and commentary next?

Philip, sorry about your printing problem.
                    Hope it gets sorted out.

I listed a kitchen table and chairs on Facebook and someone is coming this morning to pick it up.
So not will have to be brought up from the basement.

Never did get to mowing the backyard.
Need to do it today before the rain starts.

                    Nothing else planned.

                    Have a great day everyone.

                      Rick thanks for the coffee.

Pancakes with butter & Vermont maple syrup. Sides of bacon & sausage.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/65. Later today rain!

No bench time yesterday was just to lazy. But today with rain moving in I'm sure I will some time there.

New phones are working I think! Sometimes I think they have a mind of there own!!

                      Everyone have a great day!!

This is on the drive back off the “main” road to our place. This was last evening an hour or so before sunset.

This morning it’s in the 40s as I write. Was low 40s at first sun, I was outside taking more drone video. Thanks for the comments, btw. Rick, music and such will come as I learn the Premiere Elements program. It’s fun flying the drone, post production, naaa….
