Some really fine work here! I’ve fallen behind in posting progress on Opansky’s Organ Works. Got to get the pic posting routing down, but it will be coming. It’s been a great experience in reverse engineering a dated kit! Looking forward to more inspiring work from a great group of modelers!

    Thanks, Michael, George & Mike.

I've really enjoyed this years Challenge.

A good variety of builds were done, and I've enjoyed following along on your builds both here, and in your own threads.

Certainly was a lot achieved by everyone, and that's what it's all about.

Thanks to everyone else who participated or commented during this years Challenge.

Michael, the tower looks stunning. The additions you've made to it make it a standout, and will great on your layout.

As a modeling friend said, my B&O interlocking tower is "complete but not finished." He expressed it well. I was able to complete the structure but there are the details to be added.

Here's the basic structure sitting on my layout.

Here it is sitting on my friend's layout where it will reside:

The exact position is yet to be determined. Once I know where it will sit exactly I will do the train order boards, relay box and battery wells.

    Rob,

You have done a fine job throughout.

I'll be posting my tower later today. Similar story to yours in that the main structure is done, but there will be details added to and around the tower when placed on the layout.

Well the 2021 Challenge is about to finish.

When I started I only really intended to get the structure done, within the timeframe. I knew I could never complete the whole diorama in the time allowed.

However, getting all the wharf area done as well is a bonus for me, but I still have many weeks of work to finish it all off.

So I'm calling this done as far as the Challenge goes.

You can keep following on my full build thread here if you're still interested:
