Thanks, Larry. I am indeed having fun working on the sand tower.
I'm to the 'plumbing/metal work' part of the build. Yesterday I fabricated the fill pipe. The pipe, sand canister and the lid on the sand canister are not glued in place yet. I wanted to see how they looked in a photo first. I think that I will center that lid better and glue it in place.

Rob your building is growing nicely; great detail. Well done and a nice start to your project.
Bruce nice looking group of structures. The tower looks like it was fun to build. This will look great on a layout.

Thanks, Rob, George, and both Mikes.
George, thankfully Leo Campbell included diagrams from all angles including a top view. That helped me figure out the parts and where they needed to go.
Rob, all the wood and detail items for the tower were missing from the box. I made the grab irons from brass wire and made a simple jig to drill the holes in the tower side.

Thanks all.
Bruce, it's looking really good.
That tower does look fiddly. Great job on the steps going up the side. Very neatly done. I assume they are wire. Were they part of the kit ?

Looking good, Rob. I love to watch your buildings grow.
Nice progress, Bruce. That tower looks pretty complex.

Looking really good, Bruce.
Do you know what the small doors were for?

Current status of the Campbell Sand Facility. The three parts of the kit are glued together and to a base. I still have quite a bit of work on the Sand Tower.

The side extension is now finished. It is still removable so I can work on the rest of the structure and the front legs aren't glued on as yet. This will be done and bracing added once the wharf deck is made.
The side windows are also on. I quite like their horizontal orientation. They are Grandt line 3713.
