    Thanks Bill & Larry

Here is the front with signs added, and the water tank sitting in place, not glued on yet.

And I want a large sign:- No Wake - 5MPH, probably located under the upper windows.

I think I've gone about as far as I can go on the actual structure for now, as I need the decking in place so I can add posts and some other bits.

I'm looking forward to doing the deck, but not quite sure where to start.

It's not straight forward as it is split level, I'll have to think about it.

I've never built a wharf or pier before, so should be interesting.

Bruce great job on the sand house. Question: are you going to post when you start the engine stall; I'd like to follow along. Just found it.

James nice looking flat car; I think the wood deck will look great on the flat car.

Robert the signs look fantastic; adds a lot of character to the building.

I've started making up the signage.

All these commercial tin signs I just got off the Net. Most I don't even need to weather, as they are already old, and faded & rusted.

And I've finally decided on a name for the fishing village, Fair Haven.

So here is the rooftop sign for my boat works.

    back

    Front

    Rooftop sign in place.

And some of the tin signs in place. Will add some more around the other parts of the building also, and another rooftop sign on the front roof.

Excellent build Bruce, along with the others you did. Still a month to go on the Challenge, so can I convince you to do one more ?

Really nice work James. So if you're using wood now instead of lead for the deck, I hope it will still have enough weight ?

Bruce very nice job on the sand house.

James the brass flat car looks great. Looking forward to seeing it in paint and the wooden deck.

Congratulations, Bruce. The waterfront structure looks good, Robert.

If the epoxy cures well, my flat car will be ready for paint tomorrow.

Larry, I've decided to deck it with wood; I have it on hand and I know how to stain it. I'll save the sheet lead idea for a styrene or wood open-top car.

Thanks, Mike, Bruce, Karl & Larry.

Small increments of progress is getting me there.

I think I'll have to start doing signage next.

I have other gable trim bits and the water tank still to attach to the roof, but worried about knocking them, so they may have to wait till I do the decking.

I've accidentally slapped the model many times already.

James the flat car looks fantastic so far!! It's almost a shame to cover up all that nice brass work. Be interesting to see what material you use for the deck.

Rob nice looking dormer, great job. That's about as New England as you can get.

James, I've never seen a flat car deck made from sheet lead. It will be interesting to see if you go that route.

    Rob, great dormer!

Rob the dormer looks great along with the last two windows.

So here it is in place. The wife suggested putting on a second dormer, but I will only have the one, as I'll be putting a business sign of the right side of it.

And have now put on the last two windows for the structure.
