  • Bob,

That's a beautiful model. Your experience is certainly coming in handy.

    • Thanks Carl,

Yes, all the same check marks but I did notice that the EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS said NO and I changed it to YES. That might do it.

Your post showed that I still have not solved the problem because I did not receive an email for it.

All the comment on the previous posting dealing with the main sail apply to the jib, made the same way.

Charlie, my 1/24 scale man, has been inspecting my work on the forum for years. Here he is looking around.

                • Great looking boat there Bob, nice progress. I'm sure the printed decals will look a lot better.

                  • Bob, will this vessel have a tiller or a wheel? Charlie was wondering, so I thought I'd ask....

                    • Thanks guys.

Pete. it has a tiller. Looks like a dark stick sticking into Charlie's leg in that last photo.

Is ANYBODY getting emails when someone posts to a forum that you are subscribed to?? I am not.

Don't know where to go to fix it.

                        • Bob,

Great seeing the completion of this wonderful vessel. Your approach to the reef points looks very authentic! It must have taken much patience to complete that task.

Now that you have shown how it is done, time for me to purchase one and get it built.

Thanks Greg and Pete for your posts.

I decided that the boat looks too empty without a helmsman so I wanted to make such a figure. Here's the back of the kit box
showing the parts included. Sorry, I'm having a senior moment and can't remember the name of the manufacturer but I'll get
out to the shop later today and get that name for you. This one is male nudes in 1/24 scale but they also make kits for nude
females and both kits are available on many different scales.

The kit makes seven figures and you can further making poses by cutting the limbs at the joints ( wrist, elbow. ankle, and knee)
and gluing them back anyway you want them.

I posed him with one hand on the tiller and the other at rest along the coming.
