I'm just postin' away..... Guess it's because I'll find out most if not all the details about the 'move' tomorrow. I might even start packing up locomotives and rolling stock if all goes well. I'll for sure have it all done by this weekend. I want to start 'modifying ' the peninsula section this weekend if possible, and begin 'removing' the rest of the RR that's not going with me. The section with the yard and TT will remain in place so I can compare the fit of the remainder of the peninsula section to it. It will stay there till the move, as it does not have legs. I 'mocked up' Grizzly to see how it would fit together .....Here's some shots of the way Grizzly will look when I begin work at the new location.....Man this is already more fun than a body ought to be allowed..........
Kyle, honestly, I can't keep up anymore if you're staying or moving.
Whatever you decide to do good luck and I'll always enjoy seeing what you're doing on the layout.

Hey Rick, I hope you're having a great time travelling around. I sure didn't mean to confuse anyone. There were so many variables, I maybe should have not posted every time something came up that might happen. Today though all the paperwork is done, and the move-in date is between now and the early part of February. It all depends on when the current occupant transfers to her new unit. Please forgive the over abundance of variable info in the past. KYLE
Kyle sounds like you're going to be a very busy guy with everything go on. Best of luck on the
move and I'm looking forward to your "new and improved" layout.
Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad
Thanx Mike, thanx Rick, and thanx Larry C.;
All the paperwork is done and I'll be moving in sometime in the next 4-3 weeks. I'm so looking forward to a fresh start. I'll miss GAGE,and PATRICE, but it's all good. They both will be going to the best situation possible and have so much to look forward to. GOD will take care of us all. Gotta go....lunch time...
Stay tuned; more to come...........
Good morning fellas. I packed up all the rolling stock on Friday, along with all the locomotives. Mark, Patrice and I went to breakfast yesterday, and afterward Mark came over to the house to look at and review the teardown, and rebuild project. I think we have a doable plan. Jeremy (Gages' dad) will finish up the current film he's working on (he''s a technician) the first part of June, and Gage will move up there then. I will go ahead and take the apartment and the move for me will also be over the next few weeks. I'll take my time moving in over the next 2 months. That means the RR can be built here and moved there. MUCH EASIER!!! All for now , here's some shots of the pack up

The first 2 are the rolling stock, the other one is the locomotives
Thanx Rick, thanx Michael, thanx Mike, and thanx Jerry....OK here's the latest shots of the 'tear down / pack up'...All the bldgs., bridges, trees, and the first portion of scenery to be removed have joined the locomotives and rolling stock and been packed up or removed to a 'staging spot'. We (Mark and I) did all the stuff this morning between 10:30 and NOON except for the locos & rolling stock which I did last week. So things are 'moving' along pretty smoothly and as soon as I get the word from the apartment folks, I'll be ready to get stuff moved. I'll start on my personal junk, and the RR 'junk' (paint, electronics, & supplies) this week. I'm really excited and looking forward to the new 'diggs'...........More to follow...........
Now these are some shots of the 'mocked up layout' w/ backdrop sketches. The backdrop on the right will be 'put up' or attached w/velcro to the layout for photos, as in the position it's in now for the 'mockup'. The one w/ Mt. Kamphues and all the cliffs will be attached to the wall and not move. One more (not yet sketched yet) 5' backdrop will be on the 3rd (not shown) side. John Allen said he always built a model before building the real thing, so I thought I'd 'mock something up', and I think it's gonna look / be pretty cool.........eh????
