    Thanx guys;
    Here's some shots of the new locations of the depots from Grizzly, Ft. Compton, and Blackrock. I moved the copper topped witches hat (ala JOHN ALLEN) from Blackrock back to its original spot at Grizzly; I moved the depot at Grizzly to Ft. Compton, and moved the depot at Ft. compton to Blackrock. I also moved the platform covering from Grizzly to Blackrock. I can't explain it but they didn't look 'bad' at their former locations; they just looked like they BELONGED somewhere else.?????????.
    OH WELL; all's well that ends well.
    Hope ya'll like like or at least 'get' what I did. Comments, suggestions, insults, likes, dislikes, fart sounds, do care, don't care, all welcome and appreciated.....

                • I think it's a neat idea.
                  Only suggestion I have, and I'm sure you're not done with it and are already planning on doing this, but I would make the underside of the arch smooth on the right side like it is on the left.

                  • Thanx Rick,
                    I'm going to do exactly that, I just didn't have a piece of styrofoam with a reverse curve part that I could use in the mock-up ('cause I broke it!) . I figure I'll make it nice and assymetrical to give a little extra 'umph'.

                          This is an attempt at adding some sky and a little ground in place of the interior of our garage; which in this instance, would have included a portion of our garage door. It's very rudimentary, but hopefully the idea comes across. I just wanted to see what a shot of my JOHN ALLEN type (although the depots with 'witches hat cuppollas on the G&D were actually built by JIM FINDLEY) depot at Grizzly would look like from a different angle.????

                            • Very nice modeling for sure. John Allen was one of the leaders in railroading, so you are following a great modeler of all times.

                              • OK Fellas I have been hard at work on the train room/garage. I've got it almost all cleaned out, started adding black skirting, and decided to take some shots. Beware there are 17 shots and I hope they give ya'll a better idea what the room and railroad look like. Comments, jeers, cheers, fart noises, burps and whatever moves ya are wall welcome !!!!
