Sorry to hear of all the cancelations. I guess they tend to era on safe than sorry when it comes to Covid.

Thanks Louis. very late reply due to some technical issues beyond out control.
And no rush now, as the convention had been moved to next year, 2022, but cancelled again, due to Covid uncertainty, so now happening in 2023. Boy that seems a long way off.
Melbourne is the lockdown capital of the world. Out of the last 20 months, we have been locked down for 245 days.....and counting.
This current one (6th) was supposed to be 7 days. That was the 4th August. Still locked down.

The running joke is:- the hardest part of a 7 day lockdown, is the first 6 weeks.

Great looking craftsmanship Rob. It will make a fine Convention entry. You made some outstanding progress since I last looked on!

    Thanks Mike.

Thanks Col. Yep I'm really happy with how it, and the other trawler, came out.

    Glad you like it.

The research side of it was fun too.

I enjoyed your build. You’ve certainly made a silk purse from a sow’s ear! Loaded with character!

    Thanks Greg & Michael.

The names have finished off what was a really enjoyable build.

Looking forward to getting it on the diorama.

Rob, nice to see that your 2 fishing boats finally have names, and made even better by naming them after family members.

Thanks Frank, but I'm not much of a fisherman.

Couldn't catch a cold in winter.

Dave, yes she is. And so is my wife.

The price of mackerel just went down now that the Goslin Fleet went to sea.

Finally got myself a new printer, so was able to make up some signs for the boat name, and registration number.

Did a bit of research about the reg No.

First 2 letters represent the state, in this case Maine.

The numbers are a combo of 3 numbers & 2 letters, or 4 numbers & 1 letter. I went the former.

The boat is named after my wife, but I embellished it a bit. She thought that was really nice, and is still laughing about it.
