                      Steve, one of the problems with linking to other sites (blogger, photobucket, railimages, etc.) for avatar installations is that, as you discovered, the whole thing is dependent upon the availability of the 'other' site's servers to provide the image. If the server is down for any reason, then the avatar image becomes unavailable during that time. That's why we encourage our members to upload their avatar graphics to this thread, which ensures that the graphic will be 'resident' on the RR-L server and always available. I see that you did upload the graphic to our sever and got it installed with few or no problems.

                      For anyone else who might be reading this: we prefer that you post your proposed avatar graphic here first and let us install it in your profile. The reason is simple: several years ago we had (now former) new members installing their own highly inappropriate avatar graphics, which were offensive to many other members. Because of that, we prefer to see the graphic first before installing it. It just saves us a lot of grief and complaints a day or two later.
