So noted, and thanks!
Recommend you head north some fine day and hit the logging museum at Hartwick Pines, just north of Grayling. Interesting place. And as long as you're there, you could swing west for about an hour and find out all about the best place to live in the state....
Give me enough notice and we might be able to include some layout-fanning!

I really wanted the images of the Bark Spud, Axe, and Saw to stand out a bit more, so I might revisit the logo at some point.
Pete, Slate Run is a small town in Pa, just about where the red do is, with a small stream of the same name. (In PA, small steams are often called 'runs'.) The Slate Run RR was a 3' gauge logging RR that actually had a covered RR Bridge over the 'run'. It was also one of only two logging RR's in PA to own a McGiffert log loader. Both the bridge and loader are in my plans.

Rumor is that he sliced the "dollar" off the end of some log he found in the river drive and stuck his own brand on the log....But why is a Slate hauler using a log marking???
We'll get used to it....
Nicely done, Bruce!
