  • Wednesday morning lounge

Good morning all, from hot and muggy/buggy n.e Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Zephyr blend. The special is #1, for those who infrequent the lounge, that's 2 eggs your way, 2 slices of toast, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage patties, and grits. It'll be another scorcher today, keep hydrated.

Thanks Joe, for resetting the forum. Sounds like a lot of hyperventilating over the weekend. It's OK, relax. There is always Facebook for trivial discussion and non hobby comments.

I got the 'severely modified' layout actually able to run trains once again. That kept me busy over the past 4 days.

    Have a Super day!

Good MORNING Jim, good to see the forums back up and running. Sipping my tea right now. Already ate my oatmeal. You guys can have the fattening stuff.

Well Rusty Stumps will be opening again in a few weeks. The website is being worked on as I write this by my friend and web designer Phil in the UK. He will have it running this afternoon but I have a lot to change before it will allow orders to be entered. Takes time for an OLD man. [smirk]

Plus I got a large order in yesterday for kit parts from Steve I need to work on as well. Not sure this old brain can keep up with it all.

So, Everyone have a FUN and SAFE day in the HOT Train Yard.... be sure to drink plenty of cold water.

Good morning, Jim and crew. We're going to see the mid 80's today. Not bad for Tidewater Virginia in July.

It's nice to have the forum back up - thanks, Joe.

I'm going for a bike ride followed by some yard work. I have an outdoor project that I'm slowly chipping away on. I've learned how to look busy so "She Who Must Be Obeyed" thinks I'm working hard. I plan to work on my switching layout later today.

      Have a good day.

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is sunny and 64 degrees here in S.E. Michigan. We are heading up into the low 90's this afternoon.

No outdoor work planned, so some modeling time seems likely later.

        Have a great day!

Sunny and hot again in Mid Michigan.

#1 sounds good Jim, I'll trade my bacon for extra sausage if anyone would rather have the pork strips.

Little being accomplished in the heat, that too shall pass, however.

Everyone have a good day, safe and cool.

Good morning from the deck in So. Central Wisconsin where it feels like New Orleans. A swampy humid feel and smell this morning. I watched the radar yesterday as the severe T-storms on radar marched across the sky and split around us. We still had some strong winds and a 15 minute drenching but nothing like others a few miles around us got. About 11 last night those same storms were in the middle of that Great Lake called Michigan looking at a direct hit on Karl and company.

Jim, thanks for opening. The continued heat, now 9 straight days of 85 or more and 70% or higher humidity. The weather guy was so proud on TV this morning! 91 for later today and the back south facing deck becomes unbearable with no winds about 11. The front deck has been seeing no breezes. It has been interesting watching the dogs being walked, the clothes on the ladies have definitely gotten skimpy and in some cases that is niceeeeee!

The addition to the horse barn is completed and I will be setting up the trains in there with Terry’s help. The SIL, and daughter are under self quarantine due to the grandson getting exposed at a Park program where the mom knew she and the hubby were infected but never told the Park program. They got the COVID test after waiting in line for 3.5 hours now awaiting results from Monday. We will be moving out of the property management space into the apartment now above the train room. We have had some difficulty adjusting to living in a neighborhood with a large apartment complex (we own) across the street. I will own up to being spoiled. The house hopefully will be ready at Thanksgiving or at least Xmas. Enjoy your day.

Good morning, all. So far this morning I've had a contractor re-charging my solar hot water system, a service tech figuring out why my new tractor would never come up to operating temperature and an email exchange with Joe in which he told me the right PayPal destination for RR-Line support:

              webmaster@railroad-line.com

I have an errand to do in town, then I may get to some mowing before this afternoon's thunderstorms. They'll be a perfect excuse to return to the attic.

                Mornin' All!

Hot [:-hot] and hoo-mid today in the northern mitten. Yuck.... :yuck:

Th link for Forum Support that James left there is working fine and dandy... I used it before showing up here today and our friends at PayPal immediately linked it to Joe and the Forums. Life is Good. "Thanks" to James for sending me the link and a huge "Thanks" to Joe for keeping these Forums rolling.

Admin, medicos and a couple of Zoom meetings today, all punctuated with the sounds of the beeping tracked machinery and the chain saws next door.... Oh, well... this, too, shall pass.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Clicked the webmaster@railroad-line.com and it sent me to the User Agreement. I went to PayPal and used the address to sent the payment to. Thanks.
