Well, for some today is the day off from the 4th of July. For others, presumably, they're still recovering from the Canada Day celebrations from July 1st. Today is also the anniversary of the 3rd day at the Battle of Gettysburg (the day of the mis-named Pickett's Charge)

For those of you with ties to MI's Upper Peninsula, here's the news: https://www.voiceofalexandria.com/ne...20f3ed4b5.html Presumably he wasn't wearing his mask when rescued.

Everyone celebrate safely this weekend! For those of us with pets, Sunday will hopefully be a day of rest and recovery from the stresses tonight and tomorrow.

Still a good morning in Wisconsin. I got the coffee, Ashpit blend, cold iced tea, hot tea, cold water and the K-cups are next to their machine. The outdoor kettles are hot with charcoal so grill what you want for lunch, we have all the holiday fixings including the shrimp.

Thanks Dave for pushing through the tough door opening, been trying since 7. Returned from 2 grocery stops when we were not planning any. How come the ladies can change their minds but when we do it we get grief? The daughter texted this morning. She was notified that 2 kids in the grandson’s park program that the family has the virus but sent the kids to the program anyway. The lady was shown on the news that it is a flu and we over protect our kids. The City has cancelled the program for the summer and has told all parents to double check their kids for the next 14 days. Enjoy your day.

Good morning Dave and the rest of the crew. Now that we are past noon, I offer some brats on the grill for lunch, along with some fresh made Iced Tea. Add your own sweetener.

Many thanks to Joe for getting the Forum up and running - again.

Dave, I have no current plans to skinny dip in a sewer system.

We have sunshine, temps heading to 90, and high humidity.

Some modeling is planned for this afternoon.

      Have a great day.

        Good afternoon, All!

Sunny, warm and trending toward [:-hot] [:-hot] here in the northern mitten today. No plans here for skinny-dipping anywhere, even though I have one of the better Bays of Lake Michigan down the driveway just the other side of the road. No beach this year, though, so that little avenue of pleasure has been closed off.

Many thanks to Joe for getting us re-railed this morning... I need my Forums Fix! [:-shake]

May be able to get some more locomotive painting done today, which would feel like a Positive Event. Need to get on that....

Make it a great day, All, and Stay Safe!

Good afternoon, Dave and crew. Tom, I appreciate your effort with the food, but the only thing I'm interested in is that iced tea. I started the day with a bike ride and followed that with chores that ended with an hours worth of yard work. Tidewater Virginia is supposed to be in the 90's today - I think we're already there.

The only thing left on today's schedule is a nap.

          Have a good day.

            90 Sun hot.

No naked guys just some white guy with dreadlocks and almost nothing riding a recumbent bake past our place barefoot.

Hours long wait at the bridge yesterday. All the residents in UP think it’s an invasion of the viral carriers and they’ll all die.
