  • Wednesday morning lounge

Good morning all from N.E. Indiana where it will be a hot 92f and humid day. The coffee urn is ready with Railbender blend. The special is a short stack and smokie links. Iced tea and cold water will be available all day. keep hydrated.

Interesting past few days resolving a software problem at a former customer's location. I see there are quite a few new topics here to look through, so that will take a part of the morning while I have a second and third cup of coffee.

    Have a Super day!

Good morning Jim and the rest of the RR-L Crew. Going to be a warm one again today temps local up to 85. Have some work outside that needs doing early I guess.

Oatmeal and tea, coffee later for me. Rest of you can belly up to the breakfast bar.

Not much else happening in these parts. Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

Good morning, Jim, Walt and crew.

Happy Canada Day to our friends up north.

I'm going out to do some work on a brick sidewalk before it gets too hot. Later I plan to do more rail cutting and soldering.

      Have a good day.

Coffee and 1/2 a bagel, and finally day w/o much home office work - should be able to get something done in the shop!

Rained a bit last night, so gardens are watered for the day!

Will make a run to the library today - great system; reserve books on-line, get an e-mail they are ready to pick up; call in your number from the parking lot, and they bring you your books to a table at curb side for pick up. Drop off the returns in the book drop.

        Tomorrow --- the grocery store!

Good morning and welcome back Jim. Sitting on the deck in So. Central Wisconsin where it will be in the high 80’s again. It doesn’t feel as oppressive humid as it did yesterday at this time. Yesterday was a waste of a day, slight pain on both sides of the neck, a feeling I have never had before. Tele-visit with the surgeon’s nurse and he was going to let the doctor know. Got a call back, take 2 Tylenol, yep, no kidding. I seem fine today. I see the endocrinologist next week she can check it out per the nurse. They didn’t seem too concerned.

I pulled out the electrical sub station last night and will continue to work on the diorama. I showed it to a few guys during a zoom call for local railroaders and one guy said finish it and he’ll buy it! Not sure about that but Terry said last night, why not the layout is a few months away. It gives you something to do. Have a great day.

Good morning, all. Seacoast NH is cool, overcast and damp with some potential for thunder later. I'm polling layout tour hosts about shifting our convention ahead a year; so far all responses have been in favor. Once I can get off the computer, I'll weed and plant another block of corn while waiting for the tractor service guy to look at a cooling system issue. It ought to be warranty, I hope without argument.

That intricate crossover work should have been enough of an eye test.

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. Happy Canada Day to our northern neighbors!

Sunny, hot and humid here in S.E. Michigan. No outdoor work on the schedule except for some watering.

As I type, a nice young man is replacing our garage door opener (original with the house), and installing one on the other garage door that never had one. Just continuing to do my part to kick start the economy.

I might venture forth this afternoon to the barber shop. That would be the first cut since mid-February.

                  Some modeling after that.

                  Have a great day!

Just arrived at our North estate 75 and cloudless sky.

Drive up was uneventful lots of folks at the bridge going both ways.

I see Jim’s still foisting smokie links on everyone. Surely better than the worst sausage egg McMuffin ever I had this morning.

                    Good day all
